Liqueurs and Bitters

This generic term is applicable to all bitter liquers and bitters. Bitters are produced from Herb and root extract. From the narcotic components of tropical and sutropical plants and from spices.

Usual dark in colour,appetite promoting and digestion aiding. They make great add ons in Cocktails. I personally use Menta which has mint flavour and european in character and origin both.

Campari is another world renowned Italian bitter. Its mixture of herbs and sevile orange peel is heavily guarded secret. ( and you thought, its only Coke who does so).

The all time favourite is Underberg, secret recipe of german family since 1846 and known as hangover cure.

Now dont ask me, why would you drink a bit more to get rid of earlier one..Cheers to that

    That I am not an expert in serving probably kept me aloof from exploring these hearthrobing liquers. Hearing from a bartender makes one feel that he has missed a lot.
    It also gives an idea that if you are “cordial”ly invited to a gathering, its worth not missing since it might be a “sweet and spicy” affair …btw, do u juggle with those bottles also?
